In a One-Hundred year strategy of a Nation, education is the most important basic, and teachers are the important basic for the development of education. To enhance the overall level of teachers has a crucial role in the development of education. At present, Tianjin teacher training platform is divided into three levels:basic level of staff training of teachers, the backbone teacher training of the middle level and talent teacher training of high-end level. Teacher training work made great achievements. However, the current teacher training system still exists some respects restricted Tianjin teachers’training work development. Based on the summarized of relevant work experience in our city, and compared with practice of foreign education developed countries, this paper analyzes the faults of Tianjin teachers’training and reason, and puts forward a few of suggestion for the future work.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part, the introduction expounds the purpose and significance of this selected topic, the research ideas and research methods;The second part, elaborate the theory of teacher professional development, analysis and generalize the basic problem and the general rules of teacher professional development.The third part, summary teacher training policy, platform and achievements of Tianjin.The fourth part, argues the reasons for the city’s lack of teacher training institutions mainly in the first, dominant educational administrative departments led to the understanding and application of teacher professional development law needs to be enhanced; Secondly, some teachers training manager’s service awareness is not strong result in teachers training effectiveness is affected; Thirdly, imperfect of teachers’self assessment mechanism makes the teacher training course’s selection and target weakening; Finally, the lack of teachers’training level and high quality resources relative shortage caused the disconnection between teachers training and the actual needs.The fifth part, introduces related good practices and experiences in education developed countries, as well as the reference for improving our city’s teacher training work.The six part, After taking the analysis of the deficiency of the Tianjin training mechanism, and comparing the successful experience of developed countries in education, this paper reviews the Tianjin teachers’training system should follow the principle of design, form innovation and style. Meanwhile, puts forward following suggestions for the further work of teacher training to our city:First, the educational administrative departments in-depth research and scientific use the teacher professional development law; Second, formulate the scientific standards for teacher professional development stage, and guide the establishment of professional development of teachers; Third, integrate and take advantage of high-quality educational resources and improve the quality of teacher training; fourth, improve the quality and target of teacher training according to professional stage of development.
