The school-based course refers to a kind of course that the school independently develops and implements, in which this school adequately considers its own situation, the conditions, characteristics.diversity of curriculum and inner need to development of the students and the school resolves every question exiting in the course of education and comes true the aim of the national new curriculum reform. The three-level curriculum management modes to widenation.areas and schools was enacted and implemented by the Department of Education in 2004 in order to change the national original single course management. The national traditional cultures hold obious regionality and nationality. Based on the national actual situations.developing the unique humanistic spirit of the traditional culture education and meeting the demand to the personalitiesn of the students.the national traditional culture has become a very important subject in the course of new round curriculum reform.TianZishan school in WuLingyuan District in ZhangJiajie Municipality has begin to construct the school-based course based on the trend of new curriculum reform the need of development of students and schools since 2012.Through two years’effort to development and implementation, the school has formed relatively complete curriculum system and pulished teaching materials refering to the school-based course. The achievement to the school-based course is widely recognized by the social from all walks of life.But The current development of school-based curriculum in ethnic minority areas in the traditional culture on present demonstrate a lot of questions such as weak theoretical foundation weak, objective chaos, lack of education funds, lack of scientific guidance, education lack of continuity of school-based curriculum, and so on.So the research of TianZishan Middle-school systematicly has analyzed, on condition of acutual situation through the combination of teaching theory practice by using case-study method,data studies, interviewing method and methods of observation and collecting materials,1.the aim of the development of the school-based course;2.the organization structure of the development of the school-based course.3.electing and organizing the context of the development of the school-based course.4 writing the teaching materials refering to the school-based course.The outcome has demonstrated that the organic combination of the school-based course and this school music curriculum teaching has enhanced the enthusiasm of students and teachers participation, improved the interest of the study and stimulated the students’creativity of the study. The school-based course has formed the traditional culture on campus and highlighted the teaching characteristics of this school. The school-based course not only holds important guiding significance at TianZishan Middle-school in WuLingyuan Area.at the same time, has the very high theory significance and practical reference value for other schools to carry out the traditional culture of school-based curriculum development and curriculum development.
