Research On The Pseudo Market System Of Sports Competition In China

The thesis, from the view point of the current system of competitive sports researches and sums up the "pseudo-market" system characteristics of our country’s competitive sports, through comparative analysis with foreign mature organizational structure of sports league and case study of Shandong Luneng Table Tennis Club, on the basis of analyzing and probing into the current operation situation and existing problems of Table Tennis Super League in China.The core of this thesis is to establish theoretical model of economics to analysis the efficiency of "Whole Nation’s System", "Hybrid System" and "Club System" Through theoretical model analysis, I conclude that "Club System" is more efficiency than others in competitive sports. Then I analysis the problems of reformation of China’s competitive sports system, and the roots of these problems. In the end, I give several policy recommendations for the further reformation of China’s competitive system.In the planned economy era, the system of China’s competitive sports is Whole Nation’s System. Under the specific background, this system has achieved some results. However, with the establishment of socialist market economic system and the deepening of reform, the drawbacks of this system are increasingly obvious. Thus in the early 1990s, China’s competitive sports began to embrace market reform, and lots of sports chose the form of sports league. Throughout the ten years development of China Table Tennis Super League, we can see that it has made great achievements but also has exposed lots of problems, and it has fallen great behind western mature sports leagues, such as the professional management system is to be improved, property right of clubs is not clear; the relevant legal system is not perfect; the teaching model of players is still unitary, etc.The development goal of the mature competitive sports is to be led by the market to center on meeting the consumption needs of the fans and to aim at making money. With such goal, some sports leagues will set up sports union. As the representative of the club, sports union is responsible for matters related to the league, and serves as a link between the club and the association. Sports association has no direct affiliation with sports union, and also does not participate in the clubs’operation.The operation and management experience of western sports league deserve learning. We should establish the system environment of Table Tennis Super League on the basis of the reality, bringing the research of operation of the league into real system to marketwise and enterprise China’s sports league operation and promote the prosperity of socialist market economic and the improvement of the related system combining China’s political、economic、cultural system. Specifically, we can reform from the following five aspects:league management system reform; strengthen the legal management; perfect property market competition; adhere to the "people-oriented" concept of sports development; focus on the improvement of social benefits.
