Undoubtedly, poetry education is very necessary in senior high school. However, this part has created a stark fault line within high-school Chinese teaching. Human spirit is psychological core of all lived experiences, which also indicates the respect of human and affirming sense of worth. Poetry includes what their feelings are, what qualities they have and what they persuit for. Teaching poetries is meaningful in many aspects like comprehensive nurturing, promoting traditional culture and humanistic quality. Via questionnaire survey, problems, which contain students’ interests-lacking and teachers’ interpreting-overloading, are primary existing in human-spirit training. Getting to the bottom of it, teachers have incorrect ideas, ignore anthropogenic factors in textbooks and cling conservatively to the old system of teaching, while are absence of patience and emotion-involvement and rely on reference books superlatively; on the other hand, students are always short of tastes and have too much utilitarian thoughts. According to these facts, this paper illustrates the importance of taking poetry-teaching, students’ interest-developing and human-factor-diging seriously. At the same time, reading and reciting numerous poems are equally vital. During teaching, the language training and bringing-up principles should be abided by, which can be achieved by means of some strategies consisted of elocnting-and-hearing understanding, experience-abutment, writing-enhancing, brain storm and article debating.
