The Basketball Coach Of The Relationship Between Behavior And Team Cohesion

In basketball, basketball coaches play an important role in the whole training period as the training organizers and game guides. Basketball is a team sport, the team cohesion level directly affect the basketball athletes’ training effect, which leads to the performance of the game.This paper from the perspective of game winning, to explore the relationship between team training and competition in the cycle of coaching behavior and team cohesion interaction. By using the method of literature, questionnaire,statistics, logical analysis and other research methods,I investigate and analysis the basketball teams in the Northwest Division of CUBA.The coaching behavior can be divided into five dimensions: democratic behavior, autocratic behavior, training behavior, social support behavior and positive feedback behavior. I use game satisfaction as an intermediate variable within coaching behavior and team cohesion.The results show that:First, basketball players in ethnic groups facing coaching behavior and autocratic behaviors difference; genders behaviors for five kinds of coaching behaviors have the difference; occupation basketball players, students and business units basketball players for coaching behavior training in guiding behavior, democratic behavior, autocratic behavior, social support behavior, positive feedback behavior are different, especially for democratic behavior and social support behavior; different team positions for coach behaviors and team cohesion have no difference; whether served as team captain for the team cohesion and the coaching behaviors does not have differences; the age for team cohesion and coach behavior does not have differences; the length of time get along with coach for the team cohesion and the coaching behavior does not have differences.Second,in basketball, team cohesion and coaching behavior of democratic behavior, autocratic behavior, social support behavior, positive feedback behavior is negatively correlated, while positively related with coaching behaviors.Third, in basketball training and competition, competition training satisfaction and team cohesion was negative correlation, namely athletes’ training satisfaction increased can lead to the decline of team cohesion, but does not have significant.Competition training satisfaction and coaching behavior, democratic behavior, autocratic behavior, training behavior guidance, social support, positive feedback behaviors are positively correlated.Competition training satisfaction and democratic behavior are significantly positively related.
