Study Of Social Work In Communal Temples

In terms of the large number of rural population in China, to carry the social work must adapt to the needs of the majority of rural people, in that way, social work would make the appropriate changes according to China’s national conditions, culture and systems. Although scholars have accumulated a lot of achievements in the study of the localization of Chinese social work, rarely came to rural areas. Some studies about rural areas but pay more attention to how to embed professional social work in rural society, few people study about how to use the special form for development of social work functions. In this paper, Combining the Society Ecosystems Theory and Localization method study rural areas about communal temple’s social work function.Combining Society Ecosystems Theory and localization of social work thought, and to study the Guanzhong rural areas with field research and literature method, it wants to know that the communal temple how to play a role of social work functions in China currently.This paper focus on three important parts: First, rural areas need social work.It is introduce that why people much-needed social work in rural areas, on the one hand, because the economic transformation of rural society has brought great impact in rural areas, and many areas emerge "Hollow" phenomenon; on the other hand, at this stage it lack of professional social work. So, in this case, which method can fulfill the functions of social work? Then lead to the Jin Xianguan. Second, to analyze social work function of the Jin Xianguan. It focuses on two ways: Fa Wen and Chai Qian. To describe concretely how it works with actual research data to support detailed description. Third, it contains some comments about Social work function of the Jin Xianguan. One is its strengths and weaknesses, and propose a simple method to improve; the second is comparison of thesimilarities and dissimilarities of Jin Xianguan and elaborate its possibilities into a professional social work.Conclusion: Currently, it is difficult to extend the professional social work in rural areas,however, it can take a gradual approach. It can start from their local familiar way, then trickle ideas, values and professional methods of social work, next, supported by the government and various aspects to introduce of professional social work in rural areas step by step. If the case of Jin Xianguan is successful, it will provide important reference in the future for other rural areas which develop the social work with local conditions.
