The Research Of Current Development Status And Promotion Strategies Of Campus Baseball In Beijing And Hebei Province

Baseball has been introduced into China for more than100years, it could be concludedas an ornamental, competitive, entertaining team sports, moreover it has unique advantages inthe exercise of juvenile coordination and team consciousness. Since the year of2000, baseballin Chinese campus has entered a rapid development stage. Because of baseball was excludedfrom the Olympic Games projects after2008, the organizations cut the investment on baseballproject. Chinese occupation Baseball League has been closed since2012. However MLB(Major League Baseball) landed in China, and exploit the baseball market deeply, a largenumber of baseball talent start their baseball career in school. The present developmentsituation of baseball in China could be concluded as "professional cold and school hot".This paper carried out in Beijing and Hebei two baseball movement at all levels ofcolleges and universities as the research object in-depth and practical investigation of currentsituation of these school baseball, visiting professionals, listen to the views, using a variety ofmethods, respectively from the baseball culture connotation, characteristics of baseball,baseball in Beijing and Hebei campus in the conduct of analysis demonstration and feasibilityof future promotion strategy.In last ten years, the development of baseball could be described as blowout, thereforethe problems appear gradually. In the campuses of Beijing and Hebei, the unbalanceddevelopment, the low rate of penetration, the low overall level, the difficulty to launch theactivity, the obvious gap between the level, the limited facilities and equipment, the lack ofexcellent coaches and other problems have seriously affected the depth development of theproject in campus. This paper carried out the baseball movement at all levels of colleges anduniversities in Beijing and Hebei as the research object, moreover it analyzes anddemonstrates the points of view through In-depth and practical investigation of currentsituation of baseball in these educational organizations, visiting professionals, listening to theviews, using a variety of methods,, respectively from the baseball culture connotation,characteristics of baseball, the current development situation in the campuses of Beijing andHebei and the feasibility of future promotion strategy. After the investigation, the conclusion could be summarized as follows(1) The sport of baseball are still in the initial stage of development in Beijing and Hebei.The policy support and guide directly affect the project’s development situation. More policyhas supported the campus baseball in Beijing. With the special status of geography, politicaland cultural, overall development situation of baseball in Beijing is significantly better than inHebei province.(2) By the influences of baseball project site, equipment, coaches and other factors,baseball in classroom teaching in both regions are carried out similar, extra-curricularactivities in Beijing are better than in Hebei province.(3) By simplifying the rules of baseball, expanding the organization form, as the sport ofbaseball in school promotion provides support for objective theory.(4)"The combination of sport and education" has many disadvantages, and the futuredevelopment of this form is not optimistic, but it is still the main source of high level ofbaseball talent in Chinese campuses.(5) Enterprises, foreign consortia, volunteer organization, as well as the outstandingindividual and school combined forms have provided the feasible basis for campus of baseballpromotion strategy in Beijing and Hebei province.
