It continuously develop and expand. The Martial arts internationalization development has to depend on the spread of martial arts communication. All of this are own to the mass media.The mass media provides favorable conditions for the inheritance and the international development of martial arts. It becomes the main medium of martial arts spread based on its openness, authority, significant and direction, become the main medium of wushu propagation, it plays a considerable role to martial arts development. Martial arts development will be flourishing rapidly with the help of the mass media in the new century. At the same time, there are some unavoidable and important problems, it deserves to research and thinking.Research method:the literature material law, expert interview law, logical analysis law etc. Then talking about the mass media’s impact on martial arts development in-depth communication and discussion with domestic several professors, and experts to make research and analysis. Research results show that:(1) The mass media not only promotes martial arts industry marketization, guides the "spectator" consumer groups involved in the martial arts related consumption, but also promotes martial arts culture communication, provides space to show themselves and spread for the martial arts development.(2) Film and television expand the martial arts transmission and development of the space, and promote the internationalization of martial arts development. But they may cause martial arts understanding deviation due to martial arts action special effect, form psychological misconceptions when people get their information, And they are easy to cause adverse psychological impact on children, then hinder the martial arts to the regularized development road.(3) The quantity of the martial arts professional newspapers, journals and magazines are not sufficient that compared with the Olympic projects, such as football, basketball, the media coverage rate is obviously insufficient, the influence of the martial arts has not been paid enough attention.(4) Television restores the real martial arts, promotes the spread of martial arts with the characteristic wide range, fast speed, repeatable interesting and easy to accept. But there are some phenomenons that wearing the cloak of martial arts for entertainment, so some people pay great importance on the competitive martial arts than the traditional martial arts.(5) The internet is contributed to the rapid spread of martial arts in different populations and push people deeply and consciously to talk concept and thoughts about martial arts. The spread of false and bad information has played a certain negative effect on the spread and development of martial arts that good and evil contents mixed up, the speed is slowly updated, the limitations of language and so on.(6) The mass media shows special preference to the competitive martial arts, but the cultural connotation of traditional martial arts has been buried, some skills are disappear because of the ignorance of media. Chinese martial arts is on the path of the sports, meanwhile we also pay great attention on the competitive martial arts than the traditional martial arts. How to make the use of mass media that promotes the better development of martial arts, this research gives some suggestions:increase martial arts dissemination of professional media; find the sally port and continue to expand the economic benefits of martial arts, then promote the industrialization of martial arts; increase the publicity, expand the martial arts appeal; popularize of martial arts education since the childhood; make the mass media language internationalization; enhance the development of traditional martial arts, avoid competitive martial arts to outshine others.
