The Comparative Analysis On The Scoring Methods Of Chinese Women’s Volleyball Team And Their Main Rival

Chinese women’s volleyball team is a team which has many glorious histories, butin recent years their performances were unsteadiness. Since2013, under the coachLang Ping’s guidance Chinese women’s volleyball team had achieve excellent resultagain, however, a lot of problems were still exposed. In the2013Asian championshipsemi-final and final, Chinese women’s volleyball team only won the fourth place anddefeated to Thailand and South Korea. They lost to Brazil by an impressive score inthe Volleyball World Grand Prix in2013. In addition, Italy, the United States and Japanare the old rivals of the Chinese women’s volleyball team. Therefore, this paper regardsBrazil, the United States, Italy, Korea, Japan and Thailand as their main rivals. Hence,this paper collected23games’ videos between these seven countries since2013forstatistical analysis.As a competitive sport volleyball players only have one way to win victory whichis scoring. In order to find out the vantage and disadvantage of Chinese volleyball team,this paper compares with our main rivals from the aspects of scoring methods. Scoringmethods include ace, smash, block and the opponent mistakes four aspects. I get thefollowing conclusions by comparing Chinese volleyball team with their main rivalscombining with the video.1Chinese women’s volleyball team is a young team and there is a certain gapbetween the muscle strength by comparing with players of Brazil, the United States.However, compared with Korea, Thailand, Japan there is no significant difference. Inthe future, the strength training should be more reasonable, especially the practice ofupper body strength.2There is no significant difference between their main rivals in serving pointaverage. But, compared with Brazil, there is a big gap on efficient service. At the sametime, the average of fail is very high. Especially, the average of fail of harderjump-serving is the highest. In the future, we should improve serving offensive andreduce the fail.3The average of smash is higher than South Korea and Japan, but there is nosignificant difference with other rivals. At the same time, the average of smash fail is the lowest. While maintaining the advantage, we should further adhere tocomprehensive, rapid and changeable tactics, in order to train their personal spikingtechnique and enhance the storm buckle rate.4There is a large gap between Chinese team and Brazil on the aspect of the blockscoring and the error is also high. But compared with Thailand we have a largeadvantage. While there is no significant differences by comparing with other countries.So I suggest that to improve the tacit understanding between the blocking players.5There is no significant difference by comparing with other countries on theaspect of the active error of the rivals. However, there is significant difference with theUnited States, Italy, South Korea and Thailand on the aspect of getting scores by therivals’ blocking error. At the same time, compared with Brazil and Japan there is nosignificant difference.
