As the school curriculum in mathematics the most challenging, oneof the most difficult disciplines, everyone has their ownunderstanding of this view, this is called a mathematical concept.Student math concept is developed in school mathematics learningprocess, in turn, the students of mathematics learning activities havean important impact. This study selected the Lvliang City of Shanxi Province A, B twosecondary schools, the use of research methods of investigation, from each grade A, B two high schools in the two classes wererandomly selected for the study,346of the selected high schoolstudents to investigate and collate the data collected, the datacollected were analyzed using SPSS19.0, obtain the status quo highschool math concept, based on the analysis of the status, putsforward the effective strategies to improve high school math concept.Through the survey found that:(1) Most students study mathconfident that most of the students can improve their understandingof the mathematical abstract thinking ability, mathematical form thecorrect emotions and attitudes, to understand certain mathematicalway of thinking, can reasonably The use of mathematical language to analyze the problem.(2) the different nature of sex among students ofmathematics, mathematical problem solving is greater awareness ofthe differences; among students from different grades essence ofmathematics, mathematics and mathematical thinking problemunderstanding the difference is greater; focus on high school and highschool students the nature of mathematics, mathematical problemunderstanding the difference is obvious.Improve the status of high school students for the above proposedconception of mathematics teaching strategies:(1) to strengthenstudents’ understanding of the nature of mathematics;(2) to reflectthe value of mathematics in the classroom;(3) presents mathproblems found in the process of inquiry; and (4) focus students’interest in learning mathematics;(5) focus on the implementation ofmathematical thinking;(6) the flexibility to use the language ofmathematics, to improve students’ level of mathematics.
