As socialist economy develops rapidly and reform of higher education goes conti nuously, the whole society has changed its needs and attitudes towards job hunting. H owever, the characteristics of elite times still exist in college graduates’ employment e xpectation which has huge diversity with social needs for people. That diversity affect s in the orient of nowadays college graduates, and has become the main cause of their low occupation satisfaction. The contradiction between increase of higher education c ost and deceleration of China’s economic growth is getting more and more serious. Th e problem will be solved if graduates can be assisted to build scientific and reasonable employment expectation according to their reality and hope. This thesis is aimed to in quire into the affection of fresh college graduates’ employment expectation to their oc cupation satisfaction, which is meaningful in both theory and reality.Based on the theory of the employment expectation, occupation satisfaction and the influence of employment expectation to satisifaction,the thesis inquire into the influence of graduates’ s employment expectation to occupation satisfaction. It is st arted with introduction of foreign scholars’ s research of this area;The second part is ba sic theories of relationship of employment expectation, occupation satisfaction and po pulation factors,according to the theories,puts forward the theoretical framework; Questionnaire datas are used in Part Three to study the affection of employment expe ctation to occupation satisfaction; Finally draws the conclusion and puts forward the corresponding suggestions.The main conclusions of this paper are: the college graduates are much more aware of dimensions intrinsic value;from analysis of the employment expectation of graduates, profession and type of school and is significantly,gender is significantly different; status reputation dimensions, dimension intrinsic value and external value di mensions affect positively to occupation satisfaction, and so on.New ideas in the thesis include bringing population factors into the model of affe ction of employment expectation and the three dimensions to occupation satisfaction, which is typical and new to some degree. And it also builds the guidance pattern for college graduates’ employment expectation, specifically taking universities and govern ment as a center. This thesis is aimed to provide valuable messages.
