Peer group is an important environmental factor in the growth and development of primary school students. Group norms of pupils peer group influences the behavior of the individual, group culture of pupils peer group influence individual mood, group cohesion of pupils peer group enables the individual to understand solidarity, core personage’s thought, concept and behavior have a profound impact on the individual.In elementary school, the school moral education work is mainly on the ideological and moral character and behavior of primary school students. While schools focus perspective is mainly formal groups and individual students, ignoring the pupils’ peer groups such an informal groups exist. In fact, the school moral education work smoothly, in addition to the teacher’s teaching, students cooperation, we must rely on the influence of various environmental are imperceptible to the primary students’ life; peer group is one of important environmental factor. The peer group have a significant impact for primary school students to develop moral behavior, cognition, is also an important factor to influence the school moral education work. At the stage of primary school students, their cognitive ability is limited, their the view of life, the values are still in the initial stage of things, their ability to identify is limited, their resistance ability to the outside world is poor and lack of self-protection capabilities, easily influenced by the bad information and the bad behavior. Everything has its two sides, peer group have a positive effect on pupils of primary school students at the same time; also has had some negative influence. On the outside of the temptation of the resistance ability is badSchool is used as the major activity place that elementary school students often play, educators should make full understanding the peer group, the group’s norms, the group culture, key figures, the cohesive force, mining the advantageous factors, overcoming the negative factors, and actively guide the peer group, which has the positive energy, promoting good development into the pupils morality and behavior habits, to improve the fitness of the pupils. Based on this, the author, by means of questionnaire, interview, case study, carries out the real investigation and analysis the function of moral education on Pupils’ peer group. Based on the reality condition for the positive and the negative influence of peer group of pupils in the moral education work to analysis. According to the investigation and the analysis, put forward advocating elementary school students peer group the positive energy, improve the effectiveness of moral education suggestions. The pupils peer group is not only having activities on campus, in the family, in society will also have their activities, therefore, we should set up the school, family, social combination of education network, schools in the efforts at the same time, also have to fight to get the coordination of family, social support, mining and the use of various aspects strength give full play to the positive energy of primary school students peer group, promoting growth of the pupils peer group sound and healthy. The specific recommendations of the author mainly include:make full use of positive factors of peer group, improve the effectiveness of school moral education work; rational choice of peer group type, play a guiding role of parents; to build a good social environment, so that the healthy development of peer groups; correctly handle the relationship between peer group and formal groups, form a resultant force of moral education.
