Compared with sports colleges and ordinary institutions of higher learning in our country, there are essential differences in many aspects, including the students cultivation, discipline construction, services, and teaching methods, etc. Because the special characteristics of sports colleges, besides the basic teaching, they also afford the tasks of physical education teaching learning, sports training, social sports guidance, sports projects research, theoretical supports for scientific training. Therefore, there are more differences on faculty status between sports colleges and ordinary institutions of higher learning, especially special requirements in terms of recruitment, employment and cultivation of physical training teachers. Generally speaking, in addition to the regular institutions of higher learning recruit some public physical education teachers, rarely employed retired excellent athletes. But in 14 Chinese sports colleges, due to the excellent skills and achievements of retired athletes they can inject fresh blood to the college physical trainin, bring new vitality. So it is an important pathway to optimize the college faculty status to employ some retired excellent athletes. But due to the particularity of sports teaching characteristic, the training objectives of the college, physical training teachers not only undertake the physical teaching but also the relevant theoretical teaching and the cultivation of student scientific research ability, it puts forward higher requests for physical training teachers. Although retired excellent athletes have rich experiences in training and competition, already master the relevant special sports knowledge and skills, but it is not an easy thing to really successfully transform the role of an athlete to a qualified teacher. The employed young teachers in regular institutions of higher learning have a certain cultural quality, higher comprehensive ability level than retired excellent athletes. The regular pre-job training of young teachers in regular institutions of higher learning is basic enough, but insufficient for the retired excellent athletes who haver the low level comprehensive qualities which lead to the effect of pre-service training. Therefore they need seriously participate in various trainings organized by colleges, stick to long-term autonomous learning, accumulate a long period of time, and make up the lacks of existence constantly on the surface of the parties, improve the level of quality as soon as possible to get into the role of teachers. In view of the above analysis, the author intends to investigate the adoption of literature method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics, interview method to staffed situation of 14 sports colleges in our country, the number of retired excellent athletes, influence on school teaching, the advantages and disadvantages they have and so on. According to the characteristics of the present special sports colleges in China, development direction, training objectives and requirements, each school teacher to the student with the structure, characteristics and requirements; Combined with abundant work experience of teachers construction and culture accumulation in the higher sports colleges and universities, aimed at the cultivation and construction problem of retired excellent athletes in our country sports colleges, the research results were shown as follows:1. Each big sports colleges and universities in our country should be combined with the actual needs of students and the social from all walks of life, demands for sports talents quality and high efficiency and continuous development of the school conditions, change the thought of "heavy scientific research light teaching" as soon as possible, expand the introduction of excellent retired athletes; For the introduction of the class teacher standard, should meet the teaching needs firstly; secondary examines the class teacher’s comprehensive quality, mainly learning ability and teaching ability. Due to restricted by Chinese athletes training mechanism, the independent learning ability and teaching ability is poor, when recuit the class teachers, colleges should make detailed plan and scientific formulation to investigate the learning ability, and focused on the teaching ability.2. Each big sports colleges and universities in our country should be based on the integrated feature of retired athletes excellent teachers, the overall quality level, must be strictly before the formal mount guard to carry on the ideological and moral cultivation, work attitude, sense of responsibility, the independent learning ability, academic level, scientific research ability, teaching ability training; Increased investment in the class teacher training, organize experts to give the guidance of thelead face to face, organize necessary training regularly. Build the teacher’s ethics training, supervision and evaluation system; Formulate corresponding assessment, evaluation standard, strict test requirements, the inspection qualified rear can mount guard. To further optimize the structure of whole teachers, followed by the special characteristics, teaching characteristics of sports colleges and universities, change the traditional teacher training mechanism. To update the new teacher training mode, method, aimed at the particularity of the class teacher than other teachers, set up a corresponding teacher training system.3. Sports colleges and universities should be based on the questionnaire in the sports colleges and universities to introduce the advantages and disadvantages of retired excellent athletes teachers, in proportion to the degree, the title of the investigation, the colleges should be aimed at the special group to improve the understanding, give full play of their advantages of the teaching, training, scientific research in colleges and universities. Positive change for retired excellent athletes, clear its teaching, training, scientific research in colleges play an important role, such as expanding declaration subject of examination and approval, with the conditions of the promotion, reduce the requirement of professional titles, the equilibrium between the class teachers and fine teachers distribution policy, training, competition, performance results obtained with directly contacted with the teacher appraisal, title appraisal. Improve their work enthusiasm as soon as possibl, encourage its change in teaching and training method, grasp scientific research methods, to improve scientific research ability. Change its own idea "theory of practice" to use the powerful influence of the effective carrier to change students "active participation in class, passive participation in class" misconceptions.
