The Knowledge Is Power Program(KIPP)is a model of education aid for the vulnerable groups,and And also the focus of education reform。It is established under the background of rapid development that charter school education in the United States more than 20 years ago,and is one of charter school. The development trend for more students to provide education opportunities and excellent quality of education, politicians have also agreed that charter schools can mitigate the rigid education system, in the charter movement, a special charter schools showed its excellence and success, and often become the model of the modern education reform success, that is the Knowledge Is Power Program. KIPP is a program, and it is for those who live in poor areas and children from low-income families to provide quality education resources, to help them successfully enter the university and success in the future life. The implementation of this program is by attracting school entities or create schools to join this program, so as to realize the aim of the program. All the schools in this program are called ―KIPP‖ school or ― the Knowledge Is Power‖ school. After years of development, it improve teaching quality, and become the education aid for the vulnerable groups and balanced education opportunity practice has achieved great success, studying it has great academic value and practical significance. In the process of rapid urbanization in China, the children of the migrant workers as urban and rural dual system and national policy tilt, causing them to become vulnerable groups in education, education opportunities, unbalanced education resources and the quality of education is not only delay the child’s future, could also become influence key obstacles in the construction of a harmonious society in our country. In addition, good knowledge and education is the way of change the subculture "poverty", and it is the key to constructing the education equality. the Knowledge Is Power Program through its practice proves that through enriching school education, improving the quality of school each teaching link and with the help of social various aspects of power system and self-support can effectively improve the quality of education of vulnerable groups, and realize the equality of education. So this thesis look the Knowledge Is Power Program as the research object, the literature and history method as the basic research methods, from the definition of this school、running mode and independent management, school internal quality teaching and cultural shaping support and encouragement of social system, detailed understanding the Knowledge Is Power Program, and put forward the existing problems, and then according to the situation of China’s migrant children in education, put forward practical, create enlightenment, in order to provide relevant guidance on migrant children’s education development in our country.
