With the advent of the information era, informatization of education become one of the main characteristics of the times. Since late 1990 s, the government began to promote the education informatization reform in primary and secondary schools around the country. Multimedia has been widely used in education and teaching. The reform of teaching methods promotes the diversification of teaching resources, and teaching material such as literal history material, picture history material, audio resources, and film and video resources is used widely in history class. Especially the application of film and video resources in senior high history teaching becomes the highlight of the high quality history class in recent years. It not only can stimulate students’ interest in history class but also cultivates students’ history thinking ability when spreading the history knowledge. However, we found that the application of film and video resources is not satisfactory during the daily senior high history teaching activities such as the low utilization even the misuse, etc. This paper point out the current problems of the selection and application of film and video resources in senior high history teaching and put forward solutions of it on the basis of survey of students and teachers from No. 4, No. 7 and No. 9 senior high school in Cheng Du. And through the analysis of "the action of Meiji Restoration",Summarizes the author’s experience in this lesson,these experience provide important materials for the research of this paper.This thesis is divided into six chapters as below:In Chapter one, the author introduced the research background, significance, main content and methods of the research.In Chapter two, the author discussed the definition and function of the film and video resources in senior high school history teaching.In Chapter three, this thesis showed a detailed analysis of problem of film and video resources through the survey of the No. 4, No. 7, and No. 9 middle school.In Chapter four, the author combined the survey results,to sort out the preparation process of the use of film and television resources,and put forward the principle of the use of film and television resources.In Chapter five, the author takes the "the action of Meiji Restoration" as an example to shares the experience of using the film and video resources and give some suggestions on application of it in history teaching.In Chapter six, the author analyze the common mistakes when using the film and television resources, and point out the perspectives which need more attention in the practice process.
