In the fine arts teaching idea advocated in the new curriculum reform and quality education, under the guidance for landscape painting practice activities in the junior middle school art class, leading the students to painting out of classroom. This article first investigate the meaning and content of landscape sketch of fine art curriculum in junior middle school,combine with specific teaching, starting with students’ cognition and feeling of beauty from nature, in consideration of their physiological and psychological charactors,revolving around the practical exploration of landscape sketch, leading students into nature, describing it,and with study and communicate on the course of excellent teacher, inspire their creative power,cultiative student’s ability of cooperation/exporation/creation,solving the issue of observation/framing/composition and the using of material, further,training sutdents’ ability of feeling and expression in colour, thus exercising students’ ability of observation and summarization as a whole. In the actual teaching process, the course of landscape sketch in junior middle school always encounter some problems, solutions will be provide in this article.We use survey/observation/documentation method and so on in this article, to research the teaching problem of landscape sketch in the course of junior middle school’s fine art.There are seven chapters in this article, first chapter is introduction section, analyse the current situation and meaning in research of landscape sketch. In chapter 2, we argue the definition of landscape sketch and teaching features of art education in the period of junior middle school, with related theory, investigate the meaning and history of landscape/sketch/landscape sketch, combine with actual teaching in class, discuss practical application of landscape sketch. We introduce the character and value of landscape sketch in junior middle school, considering the physiological and psychological characteristics of middle school students in this period, the function of landscape sketch teaching in the period of junior middle school, and then discuss the value of landscape sketch from art knowledge/skill/aesthetic appreciation/active learning/creative thinking. Comparing with primary school/senior middle school’s landscape sketch, emphasize observation/descrition’s issue of landscape sketch in the period of junior middle school, which should be solved immediately,and raise corresponding teaching method with specific factors in this period; Inchapter 5,related to my internship experience, through several classroom teaching cases,specific, practical introduce landscape sketch’s course teaching and effect, the detailed and operational plan and vivid work of junior middle school student embodies the value of landscape sketch course. In chapter 6, we list several present situations and problems of the landscape sketch’s practical activities in junior middle school, take Jimo Emerging Middle School as the research object, analyze different aspect such as student/school/family/society to search issues, and put forward some suggestions and methods, to let landscape sketch course be applied more effective in junior middle school, finally, students in school could get bigger developments.
