Objective: According to bone age testing work from 2012 youth badminton competition, for four consecutive years, studying age and bone age, life correlation analysis, and for four consecutive years to participate in the test of fewer athletes track research. Analysis the relationship of bone age and age, the proportion of different development trends. For reasonable evaluation of child and adolescent growth and development situation, our country athlete scientific selection and youth competition testing work of the skeletal age, offering game theory reference and practice guidance. Methods: For digital X-ray films of children’s badminton athletes from 2012 to 2015 years taking part in the national training and summer camp. With chronological life age 1 and 0.5 years respectively for each year and the total sample group, Studying age and bone age, life correlation analysis, and for four consecutive years to participate in the test of fewer athletes track research. Analysis the relationship of bone age and age, the proportion of different development trends with bone age minus the life age difference to classify the types, development analysis in different years and overall development type distribution. At the same time to all staff involved in the test for four consecutive years, do age of bone age and life track analysis. Results: Received 3009 test samples, boys at 11.0-11.5 years old group had a significantly lower bone age than life age almost 0.3 years, 17 years old age group is slightly lower than life age, the rest in every age group were higher than life age.Girls from 9.5 to 10.4 years old age group had a significantly higher bone age than life age, after 16.5 years old group, bone age significantly below the age of life, 0.7years, 17 years old group, had the largest difference, between 10.5-16 groups, had no difference in significant differences. On the development type from 2012-2015 men and women are showing early growth decline, the normal development rise, proportional constant late development trend, the overall boy early growth of 24%,61% normal development, late growth 14%. Girl’s early and late growth 18%, normal growth 64%; Boys in tracking research development type of different proportion is relatively stable, girls fluctuated slightly; Boy 71.3% growth type did not change, while girl 60.5% development type did not change. The highest percentage of late development type had the highest percentage changes, nearly 50%. The proportion of bone growth duration and shorten basic consistent. Conclusions: 1) Male adolescents badminton players between 9 and 16 years old, in addition to 11.0-11.0 years, bone age appear below the age of life turning point, the remaining paragraphs bone age were higher than the life of age, bone development trend is obvious. 2) Women athletes at the age of 9.5-11 bone age is significantly higher than the life of age, 16 year old age group bone growth slowing down. 3) Male, the female teenager badminton players were not across individual development type. The highest percentage of late development type change.4) Female adolescent athletes at 16 years old age group had a significantly lower bone age, prompt should combine now universal digital X-ray technology and the development level of teenagers the current revision of the appropriate scoring method of bone age evaluation standard.
