According to Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of family cultural capital, this thesis aims to explore the current situation of the family cultural capital of the rural migrant workers’children in Shanghai, and research the relationship of three forms of migrant children’s family cultural capital, namely "embodied state" "objectified state" "institutionalized state". To achieve the above objectives, the study mainly adopts questionnaire survey method, and selects the M primary school of the Pudong district in Shanghai as samples. The tools of data analysis are SPSS 19.0 and AMOSE21.0, using the descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, and structural equation model(SEM).In this study, "embodied state" is divided into "parents cultural trait" "students cultural trait" and " cultural activity"; "objectified state" is divided into "learning tool" and "learning environment and atmosphere"; "institutionalized state" is divided into "parents socioeconomic status" "students" academic performance level" and "environmental stability"; background variables include sex, age, birthplace, number of siblings, family structure. Some important conclusions were drawn after statistical analysis. The family cultural capital of the rural migrant workers’children is at a medium high degree. The environmental stability is at a medium high degree. There is significant difference between background variables and the family cultural capital of the rural migrant workers’children. Finally, on the basis of the results and conclusions, we propose the following suggestions:1.In terms of embodied state, improve the parent-child communication.2.In terms of objectified state, create objective environment and atmosphere.3.In terms of institutionalized state, grasp continuing education, and conduct community education.4.Insist on educational fairness and people-thought, and promote overall development.
