| Formerly known as the Chinese Women’s Basketball League, WCBA has originated in 2002, and changed its name to Women’s Chinese Basketball Association after the 2014 merger of the A and B league. CBA has originated in 1995 and became a professional league in 2002. Compared with CBA, the development of WCBA lags behind. CBA league club business model has transformed into a self-financing and currently WCBA League is still supported by the Chinese Basketball Association. Subject to market economy and the management system has not become a true sense of the professional league.As China’s highest level of women’s basketball league, WCBA so far has gone through 14 years. During 14-year period, WCBA league has undergone great changes. In order to improve the level of the league and make the game more entertaining, WCBA league competition system is also constantly adjusting and reforming, these adjustments and reforms inevitably have a profound impact on the World Series Development. In this paper, the use of literature, questionnaire, mathematical statistics, expert interviews and other research methods to WCBA league competition system development process as the research object, the WCBA league competition system reform into the experiment started, and gradually stabilized, innovation and change three stages of development.
