Research On Primary School Mental Health Education Between China And The South Korea

In 1994, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China released<Some suggestions on Further Strengthening and improving the work of moral education in the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China>,and in 1999 released <Resolution on deepening education reform and promoting quality education in an all-round>,and in 2002 released<Mental health education guidelines for primary and secondary schools>, and it was revised in 2012.The series of policy reflects China on mental health education to got more and more attention.In order to realize the specialization and localization of school mental health education in our country.It is necessary to learn from the South Korea’s primary school guidance the development experience.Because theSouth Korea’s life guidance in the process of the development of fusion characteristics of East and West and in the oriental culture circle with China.In many aspects and China exists a certain similarity. Therefore, the study of Korean primary school guidance is important to China because it has reference significance. This article uses the methods of literature, comparative method, induction method for primary school mental health education in China and Korean primary school life guidance, the goal and the content of education, teachers team construction, implementation approaches and methods to proceed with the comparison and analysis of the causes.The following conclusion:(a) In the educational concept of comparison, China and the South Korea have stressed the importance of student oriented education, and actively promote the comprehensive and harmonious development of students’quality. But in terms of emphasis, the South Korea to promote the concept of innovative education,and it is more focused on the concept of active education in China.(b) On the comparison of the educational objectives, in the goal setting,China and the South Korea are both to target as guidance, establish specific goals as the basis, emphasize the cultivation of students’ability, strengthen the adaptability, improve the level of mental health, and promote the coordinated development of all aspects. But in the execution of the target, our country’s educational goals is more hierarchy and directivity, and focus on imparting knowledge of mental health, South Korea’s educational goals is more close to life, more operational, focusing on life habits and etiquette culture.(c) In the comparison of the content of education, China and the South Korea attaches great importance to the content of learning, interpersonal relationship and interest cultivation, and pay attention to the all-round development. However, the South Korea’s education content emphasizes the careers guidance, our careers are not involved in the basic; China emphasizes the emotional guidance, training students’ good personality, while the South Korea will emotional guidance into a part of guiding the humanity, focusing more civilized etiquette, ethics education.(d) In the comparison of the construction of the teaching staff, China and the South Korea both through qualification certification, training, practice assessment and other ways to improve the teaching staff, and continue to expand the number of teachers. However, China’s mental health teachers overall professional level is low, mental health teacher entry threshold is low, qualification certification standards as the Korean strictly, training mechanism is not perfect, a high proportion of part-time teachers, and the South Korea’s qualification authentication mechanism is more refined, high professional requirements, high entry barriers, but teachers’ psychological health turnover rate is high, the development of space stability of teacher is poor.(e) In the comparison of the ways and means of implementation, China and the South Korea both advocate the development of network technology and promote the construction of the network environment, and focus on the way to solve the problem of students through psychological counseling. But in our country through the curriculum, more effectively were the theory and knowledge of mental health education, and theSouth Korea in the organization construction, home school cooperation platform construction and of teachers’ psychological problems concern degree than China to more perfect.In view of this, the following revelation:First, our country in the process of psychological health education on students’ innovative education is insufficient, need more vigorously promote the idea of innovative education; second, our country in the primary school entrance employment guidance is insufficient, need to establish a correct concept of small occupation, provide occupation planning guidance; third, the mental health of teachers in our country more than the South Korea stable, conducive to the implementation of mental health education programs, but the qualification and training of teacher certification system is not perfect, need to regulate China’s culture, strengthening teachers’ professional ability, improve the overall level of teachers; fourth, our setting is more conducive to the mental health theory and knowledge in the curriculum, improve the students psychological health understanding; fifth, our mental health education activities carried out on compared with South Korea has been lacking in scientific and penetrating aspects; Fifth, set up the platform of home school cooperation and promote exchanges and cooperation between family and school; the sixth, technology application in mental health education, our country than the South Korea lacking, our country need to increase investment in the development of network technology, improve the level of science and technology and the mental health education network station penetration rate; the seventh, our country to teacher’s psychological attention degree is not high enough, to establish a correct and reasonable management and evaluation mechanism, the teachers to pay attention to mental health; the eighth, the Chinese government should promote the cooperation of the government, the school and the society, fully integrated utilization of various resources, the development of mental health education and comprehensive project.
