Compared with the United States and Europe, ideological and political education in South Korea developed relatively late. But after the World War II, the rapid economic development in South Korea which was based on the development of ideological and political education has surprised the world. Because of this, although China and South Korea are different from each other in political system, ideology and class properties, the effective ideological and political education still worth to study and to discuss. For the promotion of political education in our country, it is imperative for us to rationally, objectively and comprehensively analyze the ideological and political education in South Korea.In this paper, based on the theory of comparative education, ideological political education and related disciplines and analysis of the current ideological and political education states of China and South Korea, this paper is aimed to explore the existing problems, to identify the correlation and to gain experience of such kind of education in China. This study will helps to further rationally recognize that in socialist system. People in different place have different thoughts, and this kind of education can be helpful to increase the effect in our country, to expand the research perspective of higher education and to promote ideological and political education. Meanwhile, this paper academically enriches theory research of ideological and political education of higher education to benefit the development of the college and political classes.This kind of education of ideological and political area comes along with the appearance and development of class and country. It plays an important role in the development of a country. Therefore, many countries in the world have paid attention on it and many of them also did many works on research and solutions. Hence, to compare the history and current situation of ideological and political education between Chinese and foreign countries enable us to further understand the advantages, strengths, places and many other factors in this kind of education and it appears more in developed countries. This will help us understand the existing level and development condition in our country objectively and comprehensively. In the side to see the advantages and at the same time also should see the shortage and weakness. Thus, this makes us to continue to increase the initiative of learning successful experience and effective methods from other countries, and to improve our ideological and political work.
