Investigation Of Uygur Womens’ Social Status In Kezhou Area In The Process Of Modernization

The social status of women is one of the important fields in the study of social problems. In the six decades after the founding of New China, the party and government at all levels have always attached great importance to upgrade women,s political, economic and cultural status in social life, and created them the conditions to accept continuing education 、 to work and to participate in political affairs. In Xinjiang,Comprehensive modernization drive is proceeding today, Uygur women’s career development related to the healthy development of social life in all regions of Xinjiang, related to women’s work, especially related to the smooth going of national work. Xinjiang is a multi-ethnic region, multi-ethnic and multicultural concurrent characteristics formed the special situation of local area and social environment, the improvement of women’s social status who are located in the Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture of Kizilsu,the westernmost area of Xinjiang,also reflects the level of other Xinjiang Uygur women’s status.Factors affecting the social status of Uygur women in Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang is multifaceted,a variety of factors are intertwined together, interacting with each other, and jointly affect the improvements of Kezhou Uyghur women’s social status. This Paper, is divided into five parts, analyzed obstacles to improve women’s social status on the basis of investigation and study on Uighur women’s social status. Introduction part mainly introduced the status quo of academic study on women’s social status,research purpose and significance of studying Kezhou Uyghur women’s social status.The second part mainly discussed the necessity of improving Uyghur women’s social status in modernization process of XinJiang.The third part wrotethe status quo of studying the Kezhou Uyghur women’s social status, respectively, from the state of education, economic status, political participation, marriage and family status, health status aspects to discuss the social status of Kezhou Uyghur women.The fourth part analyzed the hindering factors for improving Kezhou Uyghur women’s social status.The fifth part is about the author’s countermeasures and advices to improve the Uyghur women’s social status.
