The world’s information revolution has become the lifeblood of the social andeconomic development, the new wave of momentum has intensified the demand ofinformation to the people, the amount of exponential growth, traffic from the voice,video, data, video, multimedia broadband business development. In order to guaranteethe communication network to further expand, realize the diversification of business,realizing the development goal of a world-class information power, maintain withother countries in the complex environment of competitive advantage, accelerate thepace of all-optical network construction, to realize the speed of light transmission ofmultimedia information and intelligent in-depth coverage of the business, let humanlife and high-tech seamless docking, optical network transmission base construction isimperative. To realize the development of optical transmission network,engineeringconstruction design is can not be ignored.Aiming at the development of communication network in the field of opticaltransmission was analyzed, and expounds the application of optical fiber, optical cableoptical transmission network principle and technological advantages, cablespecifications and requirements are given, and the installation of fiber optic cablelaying requirements. From the optical cable network planning of H city, this paperputs forward H city cable coverage requirements, and the H city specific optical cableaccess network exchange point design as an example, detailed describes the opticalcable circuit engineering design application value in the optical transmission networkconstruction.The first chapter mainly introduces this would like to ask you the reason andresearch significance, and introduces the development status quo of the domesticcommunication network.
