TD-SCDMA terminal protocol conformance testing is an important part of healthy development of TD industry. With the continuous development of TD technology, many enhancement technologies, such as HSDPA, HSUPA and HSPA+have introduced, but also proposed new requirements for the terminal test equipment.This research is derived from the project "TD-SCDMA terminal protocol analyzer" of a domestic company. Throughout the process of the project, The author has participated in the work of theoretical research, development and debugging. Primarily in charge of the design and implementation of HSPA+MAC layer module, the test system was enabled by Layer2enhanced technology of HSPA+, so as to complete the support for HSPA+protocol conformance test-related functions.Firstly, overview the evolution of TD-SCDMA system and stated HSPA+technology. And then, the hardware and software architectures of terminal protocol analytic tester are discussed.Secondly, the thesis put an emphasis on the implementation of newly proposed HSPA+MAC entity.The functional requirements of HSPA+MAC are analyzed based on protocols and test specifications. Also, the design and implementation of MAC-ehs entity scheduling and priority handling module, transport format and resource selection module and MAC-i entity demultiplexing module are achieved.Thirdly, unit and system tests for modules are accomplished. Test results show that the implementation meets the design and protocol specifications.Finally, the whole thesis is concluded and possible improvements and optimization of terminal protocol analytic test set were prospected.
