Study Of The Development And Influence Of Sport-based Puzzle TV Programs In China

Based on the culture of sports, the sports puzzle shows once became the most popular sports forms to spreading knowledge, entertainment, interactive competitionamong mass media during the period of the development of television programs. The sports puzzle shows positively promoted the process of the sports television programs for diversity and depth in terms of education, entertainment and competition of the public.In this article, my research objects are the sports puzzle shows and one of the most authoritative and representative program Mystery All Star established by China Central Television(CCTV), which was an investigation target. Comparing with other types of sports shows, I use the following methods: literature data collection, content analysis, case study,observation and logical analysis to organize and analyze the reasons of the development of sports puzzle shows and the features of those programs viacontent presentation, development history,audiences target, hosting characteristics and program construction. Finally, the effects and future strategies of the sports puzzle shows would be concluded.In the new environment, the sports puzzle shows also have new statuses in the different broadcasting stages: the elements of sport puzzle game infiltrate into diverse sports program; in new media time, some traditional restrict conditions exist in the sports television program. Therefore, in order to challenge the limitations, the sports puzzle shows should conform to the trend of new media development, establish a more professional platform for sports media, create a special sports program style, produce more sports television program that accord with internet communication and market-oriented programs, and find various operating ways to promote sustainable development. Additionally, the strict standards are needed toprevent excessive entertainment.
