With the increasing demand on precious petroleum,trying to seek the complex and cryptic reservoir that has been the main work target of current scholars to the fine petroleum exploration stage,so not only need to obtain the strong reflectors which can reflect the information of major layers,but also need to get the weak reflectors which can reflect the information of cryptic reservoir.And usually,the seismic wavelet transmitted in earth is mixed-phase wavelet,and the strata reflectivity sequence of Gaussian white noise distribution is not exited.In daily experiment and work,the wavelet excited on the surface is unknown,the earth filtering effects and the reflectivity sequence of strata is also unknown,therefore,in the circumstances of no priori assumptions,the process to acquire the seismic wavelet and reflection coefficient is basically a blind process,at this time,the deconvolution is named as seismic blind deconvolution.As the seismic trace that is used in seismic blind deconvolution,the information of higher-order statistics does not require(or weaken)the priori assumptions on the seismic wavelet and reflection coefficient,the seismic blind deconvolution can be used to extract the mixed-phase seismic wavelet and estimate the reflectivity sequence of strata.Since 1980s,higher-order statistics analysis has been the advanced topics in domestic and foreign research scholar,the important status is also exposing in the fields of signal processing gradually.Higher-order statistics is used to solve all kinds of problems almost all about non-gaussian?non-minimum phase?color noise?non-linear or cycle stability.In seismic signal processing field,eliminating influence of Gaussian color noise is also important reflection of higher-order statistics characteristics application.Seismic higher-order statistics is also applied to non-minimum phase wavelet distinguish?identification and extraction,and to be most hard tool.In recent years,independent component analysis based on higher-order statistics characteristics has been developed gradually after more than ten years of continuous improvement.Current the rising technology has been one more study hot topics in the signal processing fields.Application field has extended to communication,the earth physics,biological medicine,fault diagnosis and so on.After reading a lot of material of the literature,further learning and absorbing many predecessors research results,this paper summarizes the higher-order statistics practical application in all fields,and makes a further exploration on seismic wavelet estimation and processing method application.At same time,higher-order statistics of seismic data is used to deal with the noise creatively.
