Aiming at Maweigou mine with the increase of mining depth, seam content and gas gushing volume gradually increased, there may be gas accident, in order to prevent gas, Maweigou mine to develop gas surface drainage, and utilized (namely the development of coalbed methane resources), however, the development of coalbed methane resources in the Maweigou is feasible, necessary geological, economic, technical evaluation. This paper is a geological evaluation of coalbed methane resources by Maweigou mine commissioned the study, gas content and buried depth of coal seam was positively related to Maweigou coal seam.The use of coal thickness isoline and content contours, the CBM Resources in segments, the No.6 coal seam division calculation block 25 resources, there are 1.1×108m3 resources, including coal seam gas content higher 1,10,12,13,22,25 block, resource quantity 4.5 x 107m3; No.8 coal seam Division calculation block 20 resources, there are 2.3×108m3 resources, including coal seam gas content higher 1,2,3,7,9,15,16,17,20 block, there is 1.15×108m resource; No.9 coal seam division calculation block 21 resources, there are 1.25 ×108m3 resources, including coal seam gas content higher 1,2,3,4,5,16,18,19,20,21 block, there is 8.4×107m3 resource.
