According to profile control, route recourse field geological survey methodology in North Qaidam in Qinghai Province Luliang Mountain area found rutile deposits. The Yuqia rutile deposits were banded, lenticulae output, the region's largest deposits in P98 at the banded output control width of 70m,33m thickness, up to thousands of meters long, deposit TiO2 grade changes of 1.92% to 3.23%, the weighted average grade of 2.58%; The Tie Shiguan region were lenticular, pudding-like output, one of the largest single lens more than 300m in length, single-layer maximum thickness of 8m, cumulative thickness at the P62 profile up to 20m, deposit TiO2 grade changes of 1.52%-3.81%, weighted average grade of 2.4%. This is Luliang Mountain area found two largest deposits, and all belong to the category of high-Ti eclogites.Though petrographic and geochemical analysis in eclogite minerals, we can see the higher degree of fresh eclogite?the weaker degeneration affected by late fluid and the more euhedral within the mineral eclogites, Then the higher the content of Ti in eclogites; The higher the content of eclogite in TFe or garnet almandine, the ore-bearing potential is better; The majority rutile occurrence state of intergranular output and hydrothermal fill in eclogite, the higher of the ore-bearing potential.Compare to rutile deposits of Luliang Mountain along the North Qaidam and eclogite type rutile deposits in the East China, Similar to ore structure, construction, features, tectonic setting, spatial distribution characteristics, characteristics of the deposit and rutile occurrence state, So genetic type of rutile deposits along the Luliang Mountain resemble to eclogite type rutile deposits in the East China. Both of them are eclogite type rutile deposits.Though research of Zr content in rutile thermometer and the temperature and pressure of the balance in eclogite minerals about stage of prograde metamorphism, peak metamorphism and retrograde metamorphism. combined with what had been achieved of the our predecessors, we can see the area is indeed exist the high temperature and HP-UHP, that is the favorable conditions of the formation in eclogite type rutile deposits.The discovered thousands of rutile deposits along the Luliang Mountain, Which followed the Dabie-Sulu HP-UHP metamorphic belt of eclogite type rutile deposits is another eclogite type rutile deposits. The North Qaidam eclogite from west to east are exposed in Yuqia, Xitieshan,Dulan and extends to Shaliuhe of Dulan, Constitute the NWW-SEE trending up to 350km eclogite type belt. So, it's discovery to fill the blank of rutile deposits in the North Qaidam eclogite metamorphic belt, pioneering a new prospecting direction in this area. Prospecting model based on the establishment of such deposits in the East China Sea area, the largest exposed southeast zone in the North Qaidam eclogite is most likely to discovery a favorable location in large eclogite deposit.
