Acceleration Response Law And Its Application Of Stratified Rock Slope Under Earthquake

With the construction of infrastructure in southwestern China, the seismic stability evaluation of rock slope is becoming a significant issue. Dynamic response process of rock slope is a key factor to affect failure modes and engineering designs. Based on Tangjiashan landslide and Donghekou landslide, two generalization engineering geomechanical models are created; based on numerical simulation method, the peak acceleration distribution laws of two kinds of rock slope are analyzed. Furthermore, effects of some factors on peak acceleration distribution are discussed. These results can be applied for the stability evaluation of slope and lectotype design of model in shaking table test. This paper includes several aspects:(1)Based on the field investigation of Tangjiashan landslide and Donghekou landslide, two kinds of rock slope are generalized by consulting literature at home and abroad.(2)Using finite difference software FLAC3D, the dynamic response of two kinds of generalized slope is analyzed. Peak acceleration calculation results are acquired by using built-in fish language in FLAC3D. A program is created to import calculation results to Tecplot software. Thus, contour maps of amplification coefficient of acceleration are acquired. Also, the response features of different areas of slopes are compared.(3)By changing different parameter(slope angle, geological structure and ground motion characteristics), the peak acceleration responses of gentle upward slope and steep upward slope are analyzed. According to calculation results, peak acceleration response feature of gentle upward slope is higher than steep upward slope. With the increasing of amplitude, peak acceleration response feature of different positions in the surface of slope will changes.(4)Using ubiquitous-joint model to simulate structural plane and taking bedding structure and anti-dipped structure into consideration, peak acceleration response features of stratified slope, dualistic slope and dualistic stratified slope under sinusoidal waves are analyzed. Thus, values of acceleration amplification coefficient in some key points of slope are acquired.(5)Based on acceleration amplification coefficient acquired by numerical simulation, combined with a generalized model, the peak values of horizontal and vertical acceleration under different design intensity are analyzed. These results are applied to a slope analysis software Slide, the stability factors of bedding rock slope are acquired. It provides a new method to evaluate the stability of engineering slopes in seismic region.
