The Wulagen Pb-Zn deposit is located in Wuqia, Xinjiang, which lies in the Northwest of Kashi SAG in Talimu basin. This area hads been effected by Talimu block, West Kunlun and the South Tianshan orogenic belt in geological history. The deposit is hosted in mesozoica cretaceous series kezilesu group and altashi formation. The orebody is developed parallelly with the bedding plane. The main type of ore is gray glutenite and dolomite, the main metal mineral are galena, sphalerite, pyrite. Wall-rock alteration is mainly low-temperature alteration, relatively simple, including calcitization, gypsification, apotome, pyritization. The geological features of Wulagen Pb-Zn ore deposit show that it's epigenetic deposit. The Pb isotope of ore and assise model age also illustrate this point. Compare with trace and rare earth element in ore, ore-bearing rock and host rock of Wulagen Pb-Zn ore deposit, the spider diagrams of trace element in ore and host rock are similar, suggesting that the sources are same. The spider diagrams features of ore and gypsum show that parts material of ore from gypsum. REE patterns diagrams speak that the light REE in ore have a greater degree of loss compared to host rock in ore-forming process. Large distribution of S isotope(37.9‰) in Wulagen Pb-Zn ore deposit shows that the source of S is diversity, maybe the formation sulfur and sulfur-containing organic matter decomposition or reduction. According to the rock geochemistry features and basin evolution, we can speculate that Wulagen Pb-Zn ore deposit formation environment is reduction of hypoxia envirment.Wulagen Pb-Zn ore deposit has formed in Mesozoic and Cenozoic era. According to the study of sources of ore- forming matters, depositional environment, metallogenetic epoch in Wulagen Pb-Zn ore deposit, refei to Kashi SAG basin evolution, and the similarities and differences compare with SEDEX deposit, MVT deposit, Sareke C u deposit in the same area. This deposit should be mainly based on hot brine lioxiviate sedimentary, deuterogenesis structure superimposed and oxidizing enrichment.
