Using the deformed mean field plus nearest-orbit pairing model, firstly we calculate the binding energies and even-odd mass differences for neutron number N = 92 and N = 96 chain and compare with the experimental data. The results show that these properties can be reasonably described in this model. Then we calculate the moments of inertia for even-even and odd-A nuclei, and compare with the corresponding experimental values. The results show that, within the error range, the theoretical values are consistent with the experimental data. However, the moments of inertia for odd-A nuclei could be further improved. Finally,we calculate the occupation probabilities of valence nucleon pairs of ground state for some even-even nuclei and the results show that the probabilities of even angular momenta J =0,2,4,… are much higher than those of odd angular momenta. |
