Spatial and temporal pattern changes of inland glacier have a major impacton globalclimate change and humanlife.Because ofthe harsh polar ice sheetand inland glacier climate conditions, satellite altimetry technique is one of the effective means monitoring elevation changes in the polar ice sheet and of inland glacier.IC ESat and CryoSat-2 data are used to study the polar ice sheet and inland glacier elevation changes, the main research contents include:1.Using linear regression method to detect the change of glacier elevation in three river sources, based on IC ESat GLA14 from 2003 to 2008 and CryoSat-2 GDRfrom 2010 to 2013,the elevtion trend of glacier and non-glacier district in therr river sources are(-0.373±0.180)1m yr-? and(-0.473±0.680)m yr1-?.2.The slope of terrain based on IC ESAT GLA14 and CryoSat-2 data is calculated, and compared the result of satellite altimeter data and SRTM 90 m data, the error are 0.704 ?0.921 and 0.638 ?1.217 respectively,it is proved that the method of using satellite altimeter data to calculate slope is feasible.3.Using repeat pass method which based on slope correction to detect the change of elevation in three river sources(33°-33.6°N,90.7°-91.7°E),based on ICESAT GLA14 data from 2003 to 2008 and CryoSat-2 GDR data from 2010 to 2013,the change trend of glacier and non-glacier are(7)(8)10.523 0.721 m yr--? ?and(7)(8)10.032 0.044 m yr--? ?respectively and in line with linear regression method result.
