Liaoning province is a province with complex geological conditions. The natural changes and human engineering activities have a strong influence on the geological conditions. It is one of the provinces in China, especially in Yingkou province. Because of the geological and mining conditions, the area of Liaoning province is the most serious, which seriously threatens people's life and property safety and local economic development. Therefore, it is necessary to study the geological disasters in this area.The geological environment of Yingkou area is complex. In recent years, with the frequent occurrence of human engineering construction activities, especially the mining activity, the geological disasters caused by natural factors and human activities, such as collapse, landslide, debris flow, ground collapse, ground fissure and other geological disasters have occurred frequently, which constitute a serious threat to people's life and property, which has certain effect on economic development and social stability. In order to strengthen the prevention and control of geological disasters, to reduce and avoid the losses caused by geological disasters, to protect the safety of people's lives and property, and to promote the sustainable development of social economy, the study and analysis of the geological disasters in Yingkou area.Yingkou area is located in the middle of the Liaodong Peninsula, in a serious June to September rainfall intensity, soil erosion, gully crisscross, serious damage of the terrain, and human engineering activities of geological conditions change, make geological disasters occur frequently. This paper is based on the geological disasters in Yingkou area. Based on the analysis of the monitoring data, the geological disaster area in Yingkou area is studied, and the reference basis is provided for the regional disaster prevention and control. Key content include:(1)Based on the detailed investigation and monitoring data of geological disasters in Yingkou area, the theoretical guidance is based on the criterion of geological disasters, and the main measures are mainly based on the ground survey and mapping. The distribution of geological hazards and their potential hazards, geological environment characteristics and development conditions are identified by using professional investigation and local government departments involved.(2)Based on the theory of geological disaster system, the basic characteristics of geological disasters and the type, distribution characteristics, formation and development mechanism of geological disasters are analyzed in detail. The geological hazard types and distribution characteristics and geological disasters in Yingkou area are analyzed.(3)Based on the analysis of the geographical environment background in Yingkou, the area of geological disaster prone to be carried out by monitoring data, and put forward the key areas of geological hazard prevention and control. In the geological hazard analysis and prevention, they provide a reference for the region.(4)Aiming at the actual situation of disaster prevention and reduction in Yingkou area of Liaoning Province, the main task of geological disaster prevention and control is put forward, and the main measures are put forward to strengthen the management of geological disasters. We should control the occurrence of disasters in key areas, and gradually improve the geological environment, to promote the harmonious development between man and nature, and lay the foundation for the comprehensive prevention and control system of geological disasters.
