Geological Characteristics And Genesis For Copper Deposit Of Heiqing, Within Huili County, Sichuan Province

Heiqing copper deposit which located on the western margin of Kangdian earth axis of Yangtze platform is a typical Lixi type copper deposit. Heiqing copper deposit located in quartz-dolomitic griotte belonged to metamorphic copper deposits.It is bedded, lenticular, fine granular blastic and seriate granular blastic texture. And bornite is the major mineral,chalcopyrite, malachite and molybdenite are the minor mineral.According to the analysis of constant elements,,rare earth elements and sulfur isotope,the clayey sedimentary rocks with volcanic material which provided the copper and sulfur mineral is the protolith of ore rock in Tongan formation. The dolomite-marble is the reservoir spaces of Lixi copper deposit Because of the structural characteristics.in.Huili.Group,the.Heiqing.copper.deposit.is.the.typicalsedimentary-m etamorphic deposit.The position and lithofacies controled the ore body.Because of the country rock chemical component,the copper deposit enriched in the area with high CaO,high MgO and low Al₂O₃.The silicification and carbonatization are in favour of the migration and enrichment of mineral elements.Whats more,the tectonism and intrusive rock is bad to the continuity of the ore body.Pt₁t₂ stratum which belongs to sedimentary-metamorphic copper extend stability in the north-west with huge ore-prospecting potential. Pt₁t₃ stratum is same to Pt₁t₂ stratum,so it should be pay attention to in the next mineral exploration.
