Study area is located in liugou Gap- Jingtieshan- Gulang gorge Fe, Cu, Au, W,Mo, Mn, Pb, Zn, Ni, Cr metallogenic belt, and it is located in the north of Qilian tectonic trench- arc- basin system Proterozoic corridor Nanshan arc. Possess a lot of metal ores, mainly Huashugou iron(copper) deposit, Heigou iron(copper) deposit,Huangshaquan iron ore, iron ore kava, Xiliugou iron(lead and zinc) mine,Xiaolongzhang(copper-gold) deposits liugou gorge iron ore deposits, Baijian iron ore deposits, the Taergou tungsten deposit, Xiaoliugou tungsten(molybdenum)deposit, etc., these are the northwest region and the country's major metallogenic belt,have high research value.Just the ore study area have more than 60, now known two large-scale iron ore deposits, three medium-sized deposits, 12 small deposits, 35 mine sites. Geological prospecting work carried out in recent years by the newly discovered 3 large iron deposits(Stephen sand iron ore, kava iron ore, Xiaozhanglong iron ore), which has a large kava iron ore prospects. Ore type is very rich, mainly magnetite, siderite, mirror,hematite, and also symbiotic copper, lead and zinc. Iron genesis types are: magmatic hydrothermal type, skarn, marine hot brine "Sedex" type(Jingtieshan type), marine volcanic- sedimentary class "VMS" type(Zhulongguan type), marine volcanic sedimentary-metamorphic, sedimentary marine. Therefore, the present system of local iron ore deposits research, mineralization of division preliminary metallogenic series has important significance in theory and practice.In a new study carried out the 1: 50000 region mineral prospects survey, Gansu Province, iron ore resource potential evaluation, geology and mineral resources survey research and detailed mine production, a large number of research papers and monographs, no doubt this study provides huge material support.Based on the geological characteristics of surrounding rocks and ore deposits in the study area to conduct a detailed study of iron ore deposits, and geological characteristics typical contrast deposits summary Rengganggou- Jingtieshan- Gulang xia metallogenic belt of mineralization characteristics. Secondly, according to previous data, the tectonic evolution of the region's iron ore-forming magma activity systematically summarize research, combined with the geological characteristics typical of iron ore deposits, ore-controlling research conditions, summarizes the distribution of iron deposits, elaborated iron mineralization types in the study area advantage to indicate the direction of the different types of iron ore deposits.(1)The area mineralization and geological evolution of the region combined,Iron depositsystem in the study area is divided into six genetic types and specify the type of mineralization advantage;(2) Mineralization will be subdivided into three sub-ore mineralization belt, six metallogenic prediction area and classified;(3)It summarized the study area iron ore control metallogenic regularity and metallogenic conditions and prospecting direction indicated.
