The interacting boson model?IBM?is an algebraic model, which can be used to describe the collective motion of nuclei. In this work,we investigate the quantum phase transition of Casten triangle using Consistent-Q Hamiltonian,in which only s and d bosons are considered within the framework of IBM.Firstly, the behavior of various physical variables with control parameters is studied qualitatively. The energy levels and electric quadrupole transitions are analyzed in detail, especially the U?5?-O?6?transition region.Secondly,we apply it to the study of some E?5?nuclei,in which ?L|??2 term is included, and compared with the experimental data.We calculate the energy levels and quadrupole transitions of 108Pd,116Cd,114Cd,128Xe,102Pd and 104Ru nuclei. The results show that,no matter the energy levels or quadrupole transitions, the results can be improved when ?L|??2 term is added, which means the ?L|??2 term could be important for describing the structure of E?5?nuclei.
