Bijigou area of HanNan basic complex rock zone is an important Fe ore concentration area of Qinling Orogenic Belt,The prospecting work in this area is still continued since 1950 s. However, since the limitation of the prospecting theory and working method, the prospecting work of magnetite deposit in HanNan is still stay on the ground work stage in addition to Bijigou area. This paper study on the Bijigou magnetite deposit which is seen as a typical ore deposit in HanNan area. Furthermore, summarizes the metallogenic regularities in this region. In addition, put forward an comprehensive exploration technology which suitable for this area, Thus to guide the prospecting work in Zuoxi area. The following are the main results:(1)The mineralization of magnetite deposit in Bijigou area is closely controlled by lithofacies. Magnetite mineralization in the area mainly occurs in the high iron rodingite or bojite. Ore bodies are often concentrate on the bottom of the magmatic cyclothem. Medium grain gabbro and coarse grained gabbro appeared alternately, which tend to appearing some thick seam. Rhythmic layer structure and planar flow structure are the structural guide of magnetite mineralization. Hydrothermal activities provide thermodynamic conditions for orebody enrichment of late, Make the rock forming minerals containing iron alteration precipitation iron to form a fine grain of magnetite, Make magnet ore body thickness increases, higher grade, so as to achieve the enrichment of later stage.(2)The late hydrothermal reformation in Bijigou V-Ti magnetite deposit should not be ignored.The type of this deposit should be late magmatic differentiation- hydrothermal modification compound type.(3)During the prospecting work of magnetite deposit in Bijigou, it is more different between the correlated lithology and the unrelated lithology in magnetism.The study work prove that, “geological mapping & high precision magnetic survey & engineering verification” is the most effective method of magnetite deposit prospecting in HanNan area.(4) With the method of “geological mapping & high precision magnetic survey & engineering verification”, Several of the commercial value magnet ore body has been found in Zuoxi gabbro body south Bijigou.
