Pyritic worm tube fossil is one of the key evidences of exhalation. Here, some samples with pyritic worm tube-like texture finding at Caixiashan lead-zinc deposit, will help to understand the deposit genesis. The pyritic worm tube's morphology and stable isotopes features can show more genesis information. But, by observing morphology features of pyritic worm tube-like texture, we find they are larger in diameter than typical pyritic worm tube fossil and without thin external and external ornamentation. Only round – ellipsoidal cross section in shape, and without hydrothermal vent fossils reported in the deposit, they may be not a fossil. Sulfur isotopic features, altered pyritic worm tube-like samples are richer in 34 S than the unaltered, suggest they are the production of Rayleigh distillation in open system, and sulfur must be come from sulfate reduction. Carbon isotopic feature, slightly light carbon isotope richer than unaltered in residual grey-black carbonate in sulfide ore with altered pyritic worm tube-like texture, implies organic carbon reducing sulfate may be involved. So, pyritic worm tube-like texture finding in Caixiashan deposit, is a conduit filling texture, presumably.
