Inner Mongolia beishan Xiaohongshan vanadium-titanium magnetite mining area is located in the hinterland of the Beishan hexi corridor, its tectonic position belongs to dunhuang block in the middle north rim tarim- sino-korean plate. Xiaohongshan and Damiao vanadium and ilmenite deposits in the Tianshan mountains-Yinshan belts in the similar latitude. The early Hercynian gabbro rock is the main mine body. The consistentincome-based distribution of vanadium-titanium magnetite is shown mostly in the surface, and in the deep is the magma-shaped like layered sub-vanadium-titanium magnetite output. The ore body is stable and rich. The magnetite and ilmenite ore minerals are mainly symbioticelements such as vanadium.This thesis combined with the project of the second phase of the detailed survey of Xiaohongshan vanadium-titanium magnetite in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region mesozoic-cenozoic, and through geological data collected by the previous, detailed field geological survey.Make a detailed study of the nakai border region of Beishan tectono-magmatic metallogenic belt of Xiaohongshan through the area geological conditions, the mine geological background, ore body chemical characteristics, main ore-forming elements and rare earth elements character;In addition,with Xiaohongshan vanadium-titanium magnetite deposit gabbro rock mass characteristics compared with Panzhihua mine gabbro rock mass characteristics.The studies shown that Xiaohongshan gabbro occurred obvious crystallization differentiation, with the basic conditions of formation of iron ore deposit;The research suggests that Xiaohongshan vanadium-titanium magnetite belongs to a kind of magmatic differentiation and segregated-penetration compound type of vanadium titanium magnetite,and a new type of type between Panzhihua and Damiao V-Ti magnetite-type ore-forming characteristics.The discovery of this type of mineralization has a certain scientific significance for the similar types of vanadium-titanium magnetite.The main achievements are as follows:1 The chemical characteristics of the rock from rock to ore, acid from rock to rock, shows the significant characteristics of homologous deepening changed obviously in the process of gabbro diagenetic differentiation crystallization, which provides the rock mass of the geological prospecting basic premise.2 The main ore-forming elements have a Weak plane differentiation and an obvious vertical differentiation differentiation is weak, which instructs that the gabbro mass have obvious vertical zoning.3 The seen ore has an obvious inheritance of petrochemical characteristics with gabbro rock, which show that its useful mineral vanadium-titanium magnetite mainly exists with the form of "accessory minerals in rocks. Due to differentiation crystallization is not completely, there is a low possibility of high grade ore.4 The geochemical characteristics(part characteristics are consistent with other minerals, most characteristic deviates from the main body)of a high grade ore(mFe = 26.4) showed that the occurrence of ore bodies has the very good commercial value is caused by crystallization differentiation of "qualitative change".5 Xiaohongshan vanadium-titanium magnetite belongs to a kind of magmatic differentiation and segregated-penetration compound type of vanadium titanium magnetite,and a new type of type between Panzhihua and Damiao V-Ti magnetite-type ore-forming characteristics.
