The current economic and social development of China has entered the new normal, which requires the transformation of spatialgrowth mode, also put forward new demands towards road traffic planning and using.To study the characteristic of road traffic effect on construction land function, is advantageous to scientifically understand how road traffic guide construction land use, promote the coordinated growth betweenroad traffic developmentand intensive construction land use, and drive the construction of the new urbanization. Thereforethe study has a certain theoretical significance and practical value,since it canboth rich relevant theoretical research and contribute to the application and popularization of high resolution remote sensing images.Based on ENVI, Arc GIS platform, with GF-1remote sensing image as the main data sources and taking central urban planning area of Conghua District, the article adopted methods such as the object-oriented classification, length-radius fractal dimension, landscape fragmentationdegree and Weaver index, to reveal the road trafficinfluence upon the function pattern characteristics of construction land.First of all, roadsand construction lands were extractedby object-oriented classification methodafter GF-1 image was preprocessed, and converted to vector data.Secondly, on the basis ofroad unified classification systemand construction land function type divide, the article calculated roadnetwork characteristics and construction land landscape fragmentation, in order to analyzethe macro function layout features of construction land under road traffic.Thirdly,the study measuredfunctional composite index of construction land in different buffer zonesin the relatively independent influence scope of each grade road, and then revealed construction land functionstructuredifference and spatial pattern characteristics affected by road traffic.Finally the optimization suggestions for road traffic development and construction land use were put forward aiming at the existing problems.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Road networkfractal characteristics were obvious,with high and low grade road having similar characteristics, while middle grade road on the contrary, which meant that road perfect degree was lowon the whole.The landscape fragmentation degree of construction land formed “down-up-down"trend from urban outward, reflecting the roadnetwork'sgathering and segmentation effect on construction land weakened.Construction land function macro layout shows circular layers distribution, with residentialand commercial services landconcentrated in core circle, public administration and public services, and public facilities land mainly mosaic in the middle layers, industrial and rural construction land distributing in the outer circle, the village and town construction land was located in the outermost layer, just like annular scattered distribution. At the same time, because the economy was not developed in the study area, and road still was not perfected, some industry and rural construction land distributed in the middle layers, while part of the residential land was in industrial area.(2) The relatively independent influence scope of different grade roads and their attractionto construction land function was different.Comprehensive roads' maximum service scope and one to four grade roads relatively independent scope respectively were 600, 500, 500, 500, 500 m.The main functiontypes of construction land is inversely proportional to road distance on the whole, land function types on both sides of the road showed increase and decrease two kinds of characteristics when they got close to city center, and road polymerization made construction land function more diverse.Around comprehensive roads the three functions mixed landsof residential, public administration and public services, villages and townswere given priority.Aroundgrade 1 and 4 roadsvillages and towns construction landand residential land with mixed function were given priority.Around grade 2 and 3 roads two kinds of hybrid of residential, public management and public service function took advantage.Overall road traffic was the most attracted to residential land.In addition, the function structure of construction land tended to be single from city periphery to city center.(3)In the research area there were scale and structural problems of road traffic development and construction land use.Measures must be taken to promote coordinated development of road and construction land, such as strengthening overall planningbetweenroads and construction land use, developing a multi-level traffic system and dynamically monitoring roads and construction land development by extending domestic high imaging applications.(4)Compared with traditional remote sensing images, high resolutionones were more conducive to extractsmaller roads such as city roads and township ones, and interpret construction land function.As a result the extractionefficiency of roads and construction land was improved. It was concluded that it made up for the lack of traditional remote sensing data sources.
