Hydrological modernization is the foundation of water conservancy information, and information transmission is one of the important basic work of water conservancy information. Communication protocol plays an extremely important role for the running safely and reliably of hydrological monitoring system, but because there are many different kinds of specifications in the hydrological monitoring system, resulting in the system is very hard to be compatible, the telemetry terminal can not interchange which built by different manufacturers. it is not convenient to the system construction and operation management. On the other hand, most of the hydrological monitoring systems are resolved by encoding 's way, once the agreement changes, it is necessary to recompile the software encoding, the scalability is poor. Based on this, the research and design of a data frame analysis and processing method which has nothing to do with the data frame format has the extremely important practical significance and practical value.At first, this paper analyzes the commonly protocol analysis method, and points out its shortcomings. On this basis, we use object-oriented technology to research and analysis the mainstream of the hydrological monitoring class communication protocol, and to sum up the action required to parse and generate the protocol frame. By compiling technology, based on principles of program and data separation, the generic protocol parsing and generation algorithm were designed, the algorithm through the formal description of protocol to achieve stable program to deal with the unstable protocol frame. Using memory database to solve the delayproblem of real-time communication. In the realization of the technology, both upper computer and lower computer, can be based on the actual development platform for the implementation of the code, and no need to be limited to the specific tool of implementation. In this paper, we mainly study the general algorithm for the generation and analysis of data frames in the communication between the host computer and the hydrological data acquisition terminal equipment. The algorithm has the advantages of high universality and easy maintenance. The object can be used for the preparation of the communication program of the host computer software, Algorithm and design ideas can be used in the program of master station software, also can be used for data acquisition terminal communication related procedures.This paper adopts Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and Berkeley DB as the development tool to achievethe hydrological monitoring data communication protocol analysis method. Realization of the communication module through the integrated test. The results showed that the method can solveissues of universality and compatibility of the current hydrological monitoring data communication protocol analysis,and the method has certain theoretical and practical significance.
