For niobium, tantalum content is relatively low and easy to decompose samples, using nitric-acid, hydrofluoric-acid, sulfuric-acid-mixture constant temperature electric hot plate digestion, ICP-MS method to determine, The range of this analysis method is 0-0.2?g/m L; Detection limit for niobium is 0. 01?g/ g, tantalum is 0.05 ?g/ g, precision is less than 6%, the relative error less than 8%; For a large number of niobium, tantalum content is high and difficult to dissolve the sample, it was improved based on traditional nitric-acid, hydrofluoric-acid, perchloric-acid exposure digestion method, on the basis of niobium, tantalum elements can form a relatively stable and tartaric acid in acidic solution principle of complex samples in heating evaporation to add a few drops of solution left tartaric acid, ICP-AES method and it solved the high content of Nb and Ta test problems. The detection limit of this method for niobium is 0. 2 ng/ g, tantalum is 2.0 ng/g, precision is 3.7%, tantalum is 2.9%, above two methods satisfied industry standards. The relative error less than 10% for standard material analysis results, and satisfy the requirement of DZG 20.01-2011, and the result is satisfied. There are two methods can effectively solve the niobium tantalum high and low content of different samples and the sample dissolved incompletely, elements could easy to hydrolysis, and the process of analysis technological is complex in this paper. Using this method analysis Neimenggu Eluncun 1:50000 ore samples and Daxinganling Xinlin 728 highland of rare earth ore samples, and the result is satisfactory, provided the accurate data for geological prospecting, the method has been tested in the laboratory high content of Nb. This thesis research results have certain advancement and application value.
