Pangushan tungsten deposit,in the south Jiangxi Province,is an ancient mine which is nearly a hundred years old.Minerals such as tungsten and gold and zinc are in important place in the country.Its geological research is deeply and widely.However,it is necessary to carry out the innovation of the theoretical method of metallogenic geological prediction asthe difficulty of finding the ore in the deep part of the deposit is rising.According to the rock structure and combining with weak studies on altered rock,supported by the project of “Integration and demonstration of deep resource exploration technolog in the Chongyi-Yudu ore-concentrated area in the south Jiangxi Province”,the author selected “The character of Tectonic Altered Rock Belt and Metallogenic regularity study in the Pangushan tungsten deposit,south Jiangxi Province” as the thesis title,which has important theoretical significance and prospecting value.The author,on the basis of nine 1.69km-long geological crosssections carried out a systematic petrologic study,established the mineral assemblage rule,and took this as the legend to prepare“Mineralization Diagram of Structural Alteration Lithofacies of Pangushantungsten deposit”.At the same time the author combined with tectonic evolution and magmatism and explored the regularity of mineralization of Pangushantungsten deposit.TakingPangushan molybdenum and tungsten deposit asthe model,this thesis achieved results and progress as follows:1)By means of geological cross sectionstudy,Thermal contact metamorphic rockcontainsfourzones:biotiteenriched halleflintazone,biotite halleflintazone,sericitization quartzite zone and weak sericitization quartzite zone.The thesis systematically proposed field marks of the above five alteration zones,which contain field characteristics such as occurrence,structure,constitution and color of rocks.2)The thesis determined the typical minerals and mineral content of the structural alteration zone: a.biotiteenriched halleflintazone:quartz(20%-40%),biotite(40%-70%),sericite(<10%);b.biotite halleflintazone:quartz(60%-80%),biotite(20%-40%),sericite(<10%);c.sericitization quartzite zone: quartz(80%-90%),sericite(10%-20%);d.weak sericitization quartzite zone: quartz(>90%),sericite(<10%).3)Based on the above field and laboratorydata,the thesis establishedthe legend system of alteration zone and prepared the mineralization diagram of lithofacies.The mineralization model of structural alteration of Pangushandeposit was set up on the basis of mineralization mechanism analysis of rock,structure,alteration,mineralization physics and chemistry.It indicates that tungstenmineralizationis concentrated in biotiteenriched halleflintazone.4)a.vertical zoning indicates that NWW direction and NEE direction conjugated fractureare controlling ore in the superficial part of the deposit,however,only NWW direction fracture is controlling ore in the deepl part.b.Tungsten mineralization concentrated differently in different direction fracturealteration zone,the amount of vein in NWW direction fracture is more than in the NEE fracture,the grade of tungsten is higher in NWW direction fracture.c.NWWdirection fracturealteration zone is controlled by diagonal fracture,the veins developed in the direction of southeast.d.Using the characteristic oftectonic alteration to guide the production and prospecting,and obtain the engineering verification.
