Hydrocarbon Migration System And Its Contribution To Reservoir Forming In Western Slope Of Shulu Sag

It is very difficult to make a new discovery in the western slope of Shulu Sag where a high degree of exploration has been done and only subtle oil bearing layers are left.Hydrocarbon migration system has been the focus in the study on oil and gas accumulation in the western slope,but the existent studies on the transportation system cannot provide evidence for determination of direction and objective of exploratory work,which has a strong impact on high performance exploration.This study is to make clear the type and distribution characteristics of oil and gas transmission system in shulu west slope,to make clear its contribution to oil and gas accumulation,and provide guarantee for efficient exploration in Western Slope of Shulu Sag!In this paper,the structure,Combining with previous research results,based on the latest information on the structure,sedimentary,reservoir development of Western slope of shulu depression,anatomical typical reservoirs,the development,evolution,characteristics and distribution of each element or unit in the framework of the west slope transportation system in shulu depression by means of geochemical feature tracking,computer simulation and physical simulation experiments,the combination mode of the basic unit,the contribution of different transmission systems to hydrocarbon accumulation,the next favorable exploration direction.Through the study,there are two types of oil and gas transmission systems in Western Slope of Shulu Sag,the vertical and lateral direction of oil and gas,and then along the unconformity,the sand to the high part and lateral migration,the main oil and gas accumulation is in the support dense belt and the roof dense belt.The research shows that the strong reverse toothbrush and the Double toothbrush have the greatest contribution to the oil and gas accumulation in the research area,and the study shows that the formation period of hydrocarbon reservoir in shulu west slope system during the formation period.This study has guiding significance to the oil and gas transmission system and reservoir control in the slope area of the same faulted basin,and has important reference value to the oil and gas exploration in the slope zone of the faulted depression.
