Quantum holism is one of the important properties of the quantum system, which is different from the classical system.Holism has already been implied in the early days of quantum mechanics. As Einstein et al challenged the incompleteness of quantum mechanics with the EPR Paradox in 1935,Bohr responded with the wholeness, and then the wholeness officially propoesed. In 1964,Bell's theorem and Bell's inequality were proposed, which made the research of holism can be expressed in mathematical language, and then in the 1980s,it has been confirmed experimentally, and this made the philosophical implication of Bell's theorem has become an endlessly controversy among many physicists and philosophers.Quantum holism involves wide-ranging and profound philosophical implications. The philosophical study on questions such as Bell's theorem and locality, quantum holism, nonseparability is becoming more and more comprehensive and detailed. This thesis systematically reviews the historical process of the study of quantum wholeness, examines the manifestations of quantum holism, and then discusses the philosophical significance of quantum holism from several aspects of the evolution of quantum wholeness in the historical process;its embodiment at the metaphysics level and interpretation level,as well as its philosophical significance to the theory of physics and the philosophy of the world by combining physics and philosophers ' philosophical analysis of the problem. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter systematically reviews the different processes in the study of the wholeness of quantum mechanics from the perspective of historical development. It begins with the Bohr-Einstein debates before the EPR Paradox. It takes this early argument as the background of follow-up study of holism. Then it reviews the EPR Paradox and Bell's theorem, and it analyses the concept and significance of it combined with the analysis of philosophers and physics. The second chapter probes into the metaphysical holiam and explanatory holism in interpretations of quantum mechanics and analyzes its philosophical implication. The metaphysical holism is embodied in the nonseparability of the quantum state, property holism and relational holism.Bohr's viewpoint on holism and Bohm's holism as the explanatory holism are also been analyzed and discussed. The third chapter examines the meaning of quantum wholeness. It points out that the holism which revealed by Bell's theorem ruled out local hidden variable theory.Holism means the nonseparabilty, which does not conflict with special theory of relativity and the nonseparability of the whole system should rise to the level of worldview.Through the analysis in the thesis,it gets the core idea that quantum holism is broader than non-locality and nonseparability.
