Xiangdong tungsten deposit is located at Gaolong,Chalin County,Hunan Province of Hunan-Jiangxi border area.From officially mining in 1951,now the tungsten recourses of this area is in a serious crisis situation.In order to ensure sustainable and stable development of the mine,it carried out the project of replacing the crisis mine resources with resources exploration.The practical significance of this paper is to find out the metallogenic prospective area and prolong the mine life.At the same time,in the aspect of theoretical research,the relationship among tectonic activities,mineralization and magmatism in Xiang dong tungsten has not been clear.For example,tectonic property of Lao Shan Ao fault remains controversial.Scholars also have different opinions about the relationship between Lao Shan Ao fault and mineralization.This is also the focus of the study.Based on the analysis of previous studies,the author carried out a detailed geological investigation and sample analysis work in study areas,and conclude that it experienced at least four tectonic activity period,respectively : the Caledonian extrusion,Indosinian extrusion,early Yanshan extension and advanced Yanshan extrusion effect.The structural features of early Yanshan on extensional background are the main ore controlling structure.The chemical data of early Yanshan two mica granite magma show that it is material source of Xiangdong tungsten mineralization.Based on comprehensive analysis of rock and tectonic characteristics,a metallogenic model that the Xiangdong tungsten is controlled by tectonic-magmatic activities is established.In addition,according to the I type quartz and fluorite inclusions,homogenization temperature and tungsten geochemical characteristics analysis,metallogenic depth of the mine is about 3.7km,which belongs to the high temperature hydrothermal deposit and mineralization take place at the redox interface.Finally,combined with the characteristics of metallogenic model and ore structure,the Laoshan Ao footwall deep area joint development of rupture is the most favorable prospecting area.And the areas near the fault F6 and F8,SS2 and SS3 are also mining favorable areas for prospecting,which points out the direction of the mine prospecting...
