The Hunan YangMingShan area is located in the northern margin of the middle part of the Nanling tin-polymetallic ore belt.The characteristics of this area are well exposed outcrops,complex structures,frequent magmatic activity,developed geophysical and Geochemical anomalies,Favorable metallogenic geological conditions has a horeful prospecting potential.Previous studies have established the basic framework of regional strata,tectonics,magmatic rocks,mineral distribution,geophysics and geochemical background for the study area.However,due to many factors,these geological information is not integrated.Previous geological work in the area is exploration many problems,such as prospecting target area is too small or unsystematic.Research unit is divided into different departments lead to information occlusion,Low utilization rate of Geophysical-geochemical data,and not close Combined with geological prospecting.These unfavorable factors have affected the further exploration work in this area.In recent years,in order to improve the prospecting results,mineral geological survey projects of yhe YangmingShan are hans been launched.On the basis of collecting the predecessors' achievements,The authors find out the basic tin polymetallic ore controlling conditions by the 1?50000 mineral geological mapping,1?50000 stream sediment survey and 1?50 000 high-precision magnetic survey.On the basis of comprehensive analysis of regional mineralization regularity,regional prospecting model for Sn-Pb-Zn ore hans been set up,and 6 metallogenic prospect areas has been delineated.Meanwhile,by using the large scale planar geological mapping,soil profiling survey,surface trenching expose and private mined survey catalog,mine spot and abnormal reconnaissance,2 preferential mineral deposits have been briefly checked,10 preferential mineral deposits have been examined,6 metallogenic prospective areas have been delineated(including 2 A-class,2 B-class and 2 C-class),and 3 prospecting target areas have been founded.Through the above work,a good ore prospecting results have been achieved.
