In this paper, we used forest resource inventory data?satellite images?forest protection survey data?present land use map and topographic map of study area as data source. Then based on 3S technology monitoring and analyzing landscape pattern dynamic changes and driving factors of this region in the town of Wengong. Dahua, Aoling which located in the south of Renshou Ere Mountain.The main results are as follows:Firstly, between 2002 to 2014, the land types of south of Ere Shan shallow grave have undergone great changes. In generally the area of arbor forest and cultivated land are on the decline. While in the meantime, economic forest increased 1370.40hm2 as the largest growth area; Waters is the largest growth in the proportion of land use types, reached to 277.31%. Data shows that with the influence of rapidly developing policy factors the fruits planting and aquaculture became the dominant industry gradually in the region.Secondly, through various types of landscape indices dynamic analysis at landscape level shows:at the landscape level, the landscape index of Renshou Ere Shan foothill shallow hill area increased from 32.44 to 47.21; Contagion index decreased from 48.86% to 33.87%. It shows that the landscape fragmentation degree aggravating, landscape shape is more and more irregular and complication, landscape spatial heterogeneity in the very great degree tends to increase in the whole area. The pattern mainly occupied with arbor, economic forests and other land use patches was broken, with the increased landscape diversity a variety of landscape types intensive coexist in the study areaThirdly, these changes of landscape patterns in Renshou Ere Shan foothill shallow hill area were mainly affected by human force. In 12 years, agricultural population decreased form 1.403 million to 1.276 million, nearly 10% of the regional agricultural population. The population transfer from rural to urban led to the exploitation and utilization of construction land and traffic land; The development of economy especially agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery caused economic forest and water area increased; State and local government policies promoted arbor and cultivated land transfer to economic forest.Lastly, this experiment study of regional landscape pattern dynamics and driving factors has a high representative. It represents people's activities have a great influence on the land use in today's society. It also reminds us that we should do our best to prevent the derelict land increased while ensuring economic development; we should effectively ensure the quantity and quality of cultivated land do not decrease while strengthening land development.
