This article takes the Chang 9 of Yanchang Formation in Dingbian area as the research object,on the basis of the predecessor research, guided by the theory of sedimentology and reservoir geology,The analysis of 40 remaining drilling cores through rock thin slice observation, cathode luminescence analysis and scanning electron microscope, etc.,combined with basic graph data,a thorough and in-depth study on the diagenesis and reservoir characteristics of the Chang 9 of Yanchang Formation in Dingbian area is carried out, considering that:sandstone sheets of light mineral fragmental componentsof Chang 9.The rock debris content of the northwest source area is high, feldspar content of the northeast source area is high,in the central mixed source area, quartz content is high, this shows that there are some differences between the northeast source area and the northwest matter source area;rock types are mainly rock cuttings feldspar sandstone, feldspar cuttings sandstone and feldspar sandstone.Chang 9 main develop delta plain subfacies of distributary channel, distributary bay between sedimentary microfacies and delta front subfacies of underwater distributary channel, distributary bay between sedimentary microfacies.Pore types mainly intergranular pore, feldspar dissolved pore.Chlorite membrane, siliceous, laumonite calcite and iron as the main filler content composition, the growth period of grain pore is more development.Particles in the northwest of the source of the point-line contact-based,northeast of the source of the line,bump-line contact. All kinds of main diagenesis mainly include compaction, cementation, dissolution, and the roles of dissolving and metasomatism, etc.
