Research On Sedimentary Characteristics And Shale Gas Exploration Potential In The Pan Guan Syncline Area Of Longtan Formation

Through the key geological factors of the sedimentary facies and its plane distribution,the organic matter enrichment characteristics,the organic carbon content,the organic matter type and the organic matter maturity in Longtan Formation of PanGuang syncline area,with the study of outcrops and indoor organic Geochemical identification.Predicting the favorable area and evluating it with shale gas key factors of evaluation method.The sedimentary facies of the Longtan Formation in the oblique area are mainly the lagoon-tidal sedimentary facies,which contains the lagoon-tidal flat and the microfacies of the lagoon and the tidal flat facies,and delta sedimentary facies,which developed with delta front Phase and delta plain subphase.Longtan Formation early,belonging to the pulsating sea into the period,most of Transgression happened pulsately in the early period of Longtan group and the most of area developed lagoon-tidal flat sedimentary facies,only in the study area southwest corner and northeast corner developed delta sedimentary facies,in later period of Longtan group,the area happened regression,then the middle of the study area developed the delta sedimentary facies.Two tangent planes have been surveyed in the PanXian,which pointed that the total thickness of the dark mudstone is 44.2 meters in Xiaozhai Village and89.8 meters in Bei Wujia Village;TOC of the samples collected by the determination is between 2.22% and 12.54%;Ro has a minimum value of0.86% and a maximum of 2.65%,and the average is 1.62% and shale kerogen type is mainly II2-?.According to the field observation and organic analysis,it is possible to obtain the favorable area of shale gas,which has the potential to form a certain scale shale gas reservoir.At present,although the exploration and development of coal resources in the oblique area is very mature,the exploration and development work of shale gas is relatively less.Preliminary analysis the faces of Longtan group and capabilities angry Longtan Formation of shale gas,shale gas resource potentialfurther predicted to provide a basis for the Panguan syncline area Panxian sectional Longtan Formation shale gas exploration.
